kick panel switch

what's that little switch up near the top of the drivers side kick panel for?

Are you talking about the small one above your left foot by the dead pedal?

On mine, it's a valet switch for the alarm.

Don't have a picture with me JT, but it's a small toggle switch located right in line with the fuse panel down on the driver's side kick...I found it once, and got very confused....it came with the factory alarms that came with our vehicles, the "Black Eagle" alarm....

I don't have a clue about that name, I just know that's what it said on the box under my dash when i pulled it...

Aaron is the man to help you out - I also didnt get no stinkin factory alarm. I never knew we got factory alarms either (or that they had something like a valet mode. Cool).

I thought it sounded like a pin switch too but thought a pic would be best. Normally I would suggest lookin at the wires behind it (two very thin gauge wires suggests an alarm valet switch, as mentioned) but who knows what the OEM wiring looks like.

i'll try and get a pic up. i've also heard that it's a valet switch for the alarm... whatever that means...
