WHO CARES? The 2005 GT is underpowered either way that you look at it. Plus it looks too bland. They don't even have any hood or side scoops put on it. It's a shame.

3 valve times 8 cyl = 24V

it has 3 valves per cyl, a newer design.

Because a RWD coupe w/ 300/315 V8 for $25K is beyond reasonable?

I dont' think PerformanceRed is being sarcastic. If you look at his other post he repeats the same thing over and over again.

I think he is a Troll.

I am definitely NOT a troll. Will you people STOP saying that I am a troll.

I also own a Mustang GT and I have been following the whole 2005 Mustang news. I am impressed by the new design, but I think that Ford should have added 25 more horsepower to the new GT. The Pontiac Firehawk has 325 to 350 "stock" horsepower. Ford could of done the same thing here. And also, Ford should of added a hood scoop and some blown side scoops to make the new 2005 Mustang look a little better. It looks too generic and too bland "without" the scoops. I don't like a Mustang without any scoops. It looks too bland and unaggressive.

Believe in what you like. All that I have to say is that I am NOT a troll. You can believe in what you want about me. I just don't like some of the things that Ford is doing to the Mustang. That's all. I have my own opinions about some of the things that are going on with the Ford Mustang. And you have yours. That's okay. I just expected an automobile company like Ford to get things right this time around with the Mustang. That's all. There are some issues which Ford has not corrected with the new 2005 Mustang. And this is going to bite Ford in the a$$ when the time comes. I still like the Mustang, but I do not agree with the horsepower and with the bland generic design that the 2005 Mustang has. And I don't like it when Ford is going to use the old SN95 convertible tops for the 2005 Mustang design. These tops has water leakage problems. Ford needs to get these things right in order for critics like me to say good things about Ford.

0-60 at 5.1 and the 1/4 mile in 13.6 with an automatic. Plus, early dyno results showing 275rwhp (which is about 325 at the crank). On 87 octane gas no less! Yep, that's underpowered all right (especially for $25K)!

Typical troll talk....

(in case anyone is confused, that's sarcasm.....except the troll part )

I was NOT the one who made up the Herb Chambers Ford story. My buddy was the one who told me about the 2005 Mustangs at Herb Chambers Ford. I was not the one who saw these cars at Herb Chambers Ford. My friend emailed me telling me that he saw a car carrrier with the 2005 Mustangs at Herb Chambers Ford. So PLEASE don't blame me for this. I only posted what I heard from my buddy. This doesn't make me a troll. If you are going to criticize me, get it right before you accuse me of being a troll.

Here's the text as originally posted by PerformanceRed:

YEAH! Herb Chambers Ford just got a huge truckload of factory brand new Mustang GT's and V6 Mustangs. They already put 2 of them in their showroom and they have another dozen or so outside in the lots. These cars look nice, but they are too bland looking from the side view. Ford needs to add some blown hood and side scoops on them.

I don't see anything about being from your buddy or it not being verified. It sounds like your changing your story now that people are calling you on it.

For those who want to verify that I quoted him accurately:

The escorts are doing fine, thank you. As a matter of fact, my wife and I are having a party at my place tonite and there are going to be over a dozen escorts that will be present at the party. I invited 4 of my married buddies to come over to the party tonite. There's nothing like 5 guys and 12 beautiful looking girls partying together. I already stocked up on all of the alcohol. We are definitely going to have a good time here tonite. I will keep you guys posted on how the party goes tonite with the escorts. Keep the faith.
