When installing a new King Cobra clutch and pressure plate kit, does the pressure plate still get torqued to the standard factory value of 12-24 foot pounds?

Yes it does I would do it at 24lbs. You want disc to pressure plate contact.

All of the ones that I have put in I have done to that.
Got one that's been in behind a mild build since they first came out with no issues.

Figured that was probably it. I torqued them to about 22-23 pounds so I will leave it there. I went to install the new Ford Racing clutch fork, but discovered I got one that had one of the spring fingers bent from the factory, so I guess I won't be able to put the bell housing in until I can get Summit to send me a replacement.

Thanks for the lack of quality control Ford.

I know. Finally got a weekend off from work to put it together and it figures. I might go ahead and have them ship me another and then refund me when it gets there. Have to check on Monday.
