King Cobra clutch lifespan?

I got 50,000 miles on my 2001 Cobra. The King Cobra has been in there since it was brand new. The car is in for service right now and collision repairs, and they called me this morning to say I need a new clutch and resurface the flywheel I believe. 750 bucks. I don't mind having the dealer do it, I trust the guys at Dean Sellers and don't trust myself enough to do a clutch myself. I'm just a little surprised it's worn out this early. It's been hard to disengage lately but I was kind of figuring it was the quadrant bending or something and was planning on a Fiore setup in the next couple weeks. Anyone know the lifespan on a King Cobra?

Ok, I could count the hard launches on two hands. (Maybe three, hehe) Usually I take it easy off the line and hardly race, but I drive "swiftly" as most Cobra owners do I'm sure. What's the expected life of a stocker?

Yeah it is mostly city driving. I few long trips out east but mostly around Detroit. Your comment about cutting the 100,000 in half with city driving makes me feel better.

Any suggestions on a flywheel to go with a new King Cobra? I've always thought a slightly lighter one would be nice.
