Kommiefornia Smog Links...See How Bad It Is Here

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is an official link on the remote sensing:

Here is a link where you can rat out your neighbor or harass a stranger:

Here's a link on the new check of your evaporative system:

Guess they are going to start to nail us for visible smoke from both the tail pipe and PCV system....

You can even snoop on your neighbor's smog history here:

Why am I putting this out there for everyone? It's like gun control, these nuts continue to skirt around the public by finding more and more small individual harassment items and avoid a direct confrontation with the public at large. This bs will spread across the country and needs to be stopped, somehow.

hence why I love my state. We have no smog laws, no inspection, not a damn thing, and we used to but it was so slack that no one cared. South Carolina has been the rebel state for years, constantly starting conflicts and refusing to conform to nation wide policys, and I am all for sticking to our guns. Unless politicians from outside states attempt to take control, I highly doubt SC will see the light in this. More and more laws are being enforced to stop us from doing things then actually being free. If it wasn't for the Bill of Rights we'd all be doomed.. lol

Dude. Its not that bad. Have you ever been to the LA area? Its effing disgusting.

Im all for keeping cars running cleanly. Its not that hard to have a fast smog legal car, its just not the cheapest route.

The only thing I really effing hate about emissions is CARB certification, its so damned expensive for smaller companies to get certified. If it was more affordable, I can garantee that we would see a huge increase in legal parts.

emissions most of the time are a big joke. It's my car, the world belongs to everyone, and just because only half the population gives a damn about the little amount of co2 output and the little to no evidence saying it might actually effect the climate, doesn't mean everyone should. It's my car, if i don't want cats on it, f*** off, i don't want them on it. (that was not intended to you, more the generalized idea that everyone should have them).

I still have a catted Magnaflow H-pipe on my car from when I had to pass my final emissions test, and I passed without the thermactor system. Now if I had those BS inspections I wouldnt have passed without that pipe on the back of the heads.

I could put a o/r pipe on, but I choose not to at the moment. Also I kinda like that I dont smell like exhaust when I get out of the car.
