Any experience with these? I just got a new set of rear adjustables for my stang. I currently have brand new KYB's on, and I'm wondering if i'll notice a difference with the koni reds.

Not sure which (red) Koni shocks you are referring to, but I have an (orange) set of Koni rear shocks on mine that I bought NOS on Ebay a while back, that work wonderfully. I don't recall mine being adjustable, (if they were, I didnt change the setting) but they are just right for me as far as firmness. They are firm without being bone jarring harsh. They were a vast improvement over the OEM Gabriel "adjustables" that were still on there!

What was the reason for the change of shock?

The koni's are supposed to be awesome, and very sought after, not to mention adjustable.

You can't buy the Koni's new anymore, at least not the rear. I think they were really expensive new.

The KYB's are okay. About the best you can get for the II now.

Mustangs Unlimited still lists the front Koni's, at $185 a pair.
That's what I'd call.... "Shock-ing!" KYB's selling for $29 ea.
