Hey guys, been lookin around and can't find much about this...

I've been talkin with Steeda on which is the best way to go to make my mustang a 12-or low13s car...they told me Kooks longtubes w/ matching x-pipe is hands down the best setup for my 00 stang...anyone have any exp. with these?

Also, while I'm here...I really love that steeda side exhaust...but the problemo is that I have sub-frame connectors and it's lowered...without changing the skirt...ca marche? think it will work?

And the last thing...I'm getting to know underdrive pulleys, but see them advertised everywhere...if you put em on, what kind and how are they?

IMO underdrive pulleys are a waste. get an upper plenum or a bigger TB

Kooks are awesome but EXPENSIVE. I hear the fitment is suppose to be perfect thought.

kooks are the real deal....but $$$ I think when I looked at them they were 800+ for LT's

I put on steeda UDP and they went on nice, nice product + they arn't damn piggy-back ones. Did add some slight rev reaction and quicker assent into the top end but not anything to **** urself over. U can look at my ride for side pipe ideas, just custom fab'd it from the x-pipe back. Tho w/ my x-ipe (SLP) u cant lower it much at all. I already scrape larger speed bumps with a stock ride height.

Check out www.StainlessWorks.net . They will run a little less then Kooks and be as good if not better in quality. Actually, they are running an introductory special right now on there 99-04 Mustang GT kits! I am picking up my car tomorrow with there full system installed. Can't wait. Will post pics and video.

Remember, as an added bonus, you CAN access/remove the tranny with Kooks long tubes. This is a definate! Not a guess.
