Large vibrations at high speed and on decel. Rear end is clicking.

My car has had a little vibration on decel for a while now, but nothing major. Today, I got it up to about 90-100ish and it vibrates so horribly that I have to back off for fear of something breaking. It's not vibrating horribly on the decel too. So, as I'm pulling it into the garage slowly, I hear the rear end going click-click-click. I put it up on jack stands and turned the wheels and am getting a nice click-click-click from the rear end. What the hell is wrong? This is my daily driver, so I need to get it fixed.

Well this sounds fimilar. Bearings are going bad time for a rebuild!

feel for play in the tailshaft of the tranny, you can tell by wiggling the driveshaft where it goes into the trans this was my bad vibe...

Well, it looks like a freaked out a little too early. I inspected it a little closer and it turns out all of the bolts holding the driveshaft to the rear yolk were loose! Two were about to fall out. Whoever installed the new u-joints before I bought it must have forgot to tighten the bolts. Good thing they never fell out. I tightened them up and the vibration is gone. Thanks for the help though.

BTW, anyone know the torque specs for these bolts?

remove the bolts and put loc-tite on them. If not they'll just get loose again. I use loc-tite "red".

if you have the $$ Id highly recomend an Aluminum Driveshaft if you still have some vibration.

I had alot of vibration around 65-100 and the aluminum driveshaft made it smooth as butter.
Just my $0.02

yea i had to lock tight my bolts to i used the red as well..
