I launch at 5000 with stock suspension

then again I have 315 bfg drag radials...

with stock tires i would not launch at more than 2000 or so...you will just spin. When I still had my stock tires my best launches were at about 1900.

I found the best way to launch my car is to just sit at the tree at about 1500RPM and when the light goes I just drop the clutch and floor it. The tires instantly start spinning followed by me pulling back on the gas to about 75% or until I hook, then my foot goes right back to the floor. I know just dropping it sounds sort of amatur but, riding the clutch or coming out at higher rpms never works well for me and this method is very consistent. Using this method I average 2.0 to 1.90's on the 60 ft. on my factory radials.

I do the same exact thing except I do not let off the gas and I get consistent 1.95-2.05 60' times with my 245/45-17 sumitomos.
