This might be the only real one out that I know of. Doesn't look that bad I don't think. Be nice to see it in person.

Is that really "red?" It looks like a red car reflecting in a black Mustang. Either way, it's hideous.

Looks like Ford finally updated their site to reflect '12 stangs and now has the Lava Red color choice to choose from in the color picker. Probably still need to see it in person though.

Fraking finally. And I see on their page it's a really dark red. IDK, it's definitely a see it in person kinda color.

Agreed!

Have to tell ya though, when you pick the interior color and select Lava Red it looks good to me. I think with certain exterior colors (other than Lava Red) it might make a real nice combo.

Stopped by the local dealer, they have a 2012 in Lava Red out in the sun.
Obviously its a personal thing, but to me it looked black with a hint of red, I personally did not like it at all and cannot understand why they deleted Sterling Grey which was my first choice when I bought my GT, due to limited supply I ended up with Kona Blue.

It also looks like they are offering a $500 customer retail cash incentive on the 2012 models.

I'd called it a "Dark Cherry" if you get down to it. IF and I mean "IF" I was buying a new GT, the wife would want that color.....in a 'vert. I know it.

I like it for now....hold further judgement til I see it.
