i just installed my new engine into my 95 sleeper (v6 car converted to gt) 5.0 with h/c/i.. vortech v1 got it all done ran like . was just idleing with lots of surging. was testing for leaks and shut it down after i saw none. installed quarterhorse and waiting on Registrations. Now to my question and dilemma... i dont have much room and they want the wideband before cats and 24 inches away from headers which is kinda ty... so i want to know if it canbe used in place of a narrow band as both... if so what steps would i take to hook it up to the ecu and quarterhorse. Its an innovate LC-1 id rather not use a gauge and just use laptop for now or do i need the gauge?

The LC-1 has two outputs, one can be sent to the QH as a signal through the EGR valve (if you removed that) as wideband. Or just use the serial output and the Innovate software.

The other can be programmed to simulate a narrow band. This is a nice article on how that's done: http://www.lightningrodder.com/foru...ulate-factory-narrowband-innovate-lc-1-a.html

You don't need the gauge if you want it hooked to your laptop, or if you have the output going to the QH.
