LCA's or springs?

I have the option to buy some Vogtland lowering springs (1.2" F&R) for around $120 or I could buy J&M LCA's for around the same price. Which one would I notice more of a benefit from? I have searched and read that with the springs I may have to purchase a adjustable panhard and probably get it aligned, so obviously I am looking at more money spent with those. Thanks!

The car will need an alignment without a doubt. I'd also highly recommend getting the adj. panhard bar at the very least. I'd get the lowering springs with the above mentioned before the LCAs though.

Good deal. I was figuring on getting the panhard (I would assume I want adjustable) if I got the springs. What other pieces besides shocks/struts go well in helping with the springs?

Also in regards to an alignment. How much does a full alignment cost on avg? I have never had one done.

Thanks for the help! Looks like the LCA's will be waiting a bit longer.

You'll need camber bolts as well with the alignment to get it perfect.

2 degree camber bolts are used for adjusting camber on the OE and aftermarket struts. The 2005+ Mustang has no camber adjustment from the factory. When lowered 1" or more, the car begins to develop negative camber resulting in premature tire wear. It is possible to gain 2 degrees of camber with one pair of bolts. If you need additional camber adjustment, 2 pairs of bolts can be used and will allow 4 degrees for a totally slammed Mustang.

Those springs will be more beneficial to you than the LCAs will. Springs will help the car handle much better than stock, look much better than stock and that little bit of a drop won't max out the OEM struts/shocks. I'd skip the panhard bar at first as you might not need it. Install the springs and get it aligned. Then measure the difference at the rear to see if the APB is even needed. If so, you can get a good one for less than $150 and only takes about 30 minutes to install and adjust.

so if I may ask when they do an alignment what exactly do they adjust? And I assume adding parts like the panhard, UCAs, LCAs, shocks/struts don't affect this any?
