Left and right side head gaskets?

Hey all, I was getting ready to bolt my P's down and noticed that my NAPA (Felpro) 8548 PT-2 head gaskets are marked FRONT on the left side of both gaskets. Should I just disregard that and put the graphite side down on both gaskets? If I do that the engine right side gasket will have FRONT at the rear of the engine.

I would just look at my old gaskets but I only have one left and it has FRONT on the left side too.

Put the front indicator to the front, don't pay attention to the stripes or anything.

Yeah, I was throwing the package away and a piece of paper fell out. Hey! Instructions! The heads are on and I'm getting ready to torque them down now.

Front must point to the front for the gasket to be on correctly. Follow that and you'll be fine!

FRONT is at the front of the engine, radiator side.

Basically, the two back coolant passages should be open, and the two front passages should be blocked off.

If installed correctly, the headgaskets will stick out on the front outside corners of the block and head mating area.
