Ya know, I always liked the xenon kit ( i know, surprisingly) due to it's clean, slick look, straight lines and no wild stuff, but the Saleen kit, when actually done right, ALWAYS will make me drool with my jaw dropped. I saw a 01 saleen the other day, and it looked BAD AS H*** and i've never seen a SN95 in person with it, but it always makes me think the car is faster than it probably is.
By the way, isn't there a S282 and a 5.4 kit? And if so, what's the difference?

having it done "right" has always been the problem. when i originally had the kit put on in 2000 there was alot of hassles with the body shop for them to get it to look good.

i just had the entire car painted this november and the body kit had to be removed and reinstalled. i had to show up at the paint shop everyday to make sure they did everything correctly. i guess it was worth all the pain because it turned out ok.

i was torn between getting the 3 or 3.5 inch. i thought if i went with the 3.5" then it would look too "ricer". i decided on the 3" magnaflow tips with the rolled edges.

sometimes they look ok, but lately when i look at them i want to go bigger.

here's what the car looked like in october 2003. cobra r rims with a saleen kit is a bad idea. people would always ask me why i have cobra r's instead of saleen rims.

when i had the car re-done, i didn't have the saleen stickers put back on. now that i have the stickers removed and the 19" rims, i dont get hassled at all.

the muffler shop that did the install had alot of different brands and sizes in stock. i wasn't looking specifically for a magnaflow, i just picked what i thought would look best.

i could drive by the shop in the next couple of days and get their phone # for you. i'm sure they could ship a pair out to you.

yeah that would really make it look great. i never thought that i would want to use spacers, but the ones i bought from maximum motorsports worked out well.

that cowl hood is sweet. your body shop matched up the paint perfectly

What are these wheel spacers? How do they work? Just to move the wheels out further? Is it safe?

get the ones that are hubcentric and that bolt onto the spindle and then the wheels bolt onto it.. those are just great.. others could be dangerous...
