Do you think a level 20 block really adds about 30-40 hp or is it bull***** ? ?

lol....i dont even know myself....but dss is advertising it....im sure someone on here will know.

Well I don't know where that extra 20-30 hp would come from though engine block modding.

If you're buying one of their pre-built short blocks, i could see how they could claim that since they could ring them loose and that *might* yield a tad more power...but i don't know how just a bare block is going to add any power...it's all in the assembly. Unless they do something like coating the lifter valley with that slick crap that lets the oil run down in the engine quicker or something like that.

It doesn't claim 30-40 more Horse power. It's suppose to HANDLE 30-40 more hp.

Which if you think of it like this. Ever use a bandaid to heal a gunshot wound? It might help a little bit, but really it doesn't do jack.

Stock block is a stock block is a stock block.
