Yeah, but remember this Mustang is an automatic manual.
Nevermind, the Lightning wins anyway.

We haven't put the convertor and clutch in yet? What is the conflict between the two?

you can't have both, it'd be like saying "I've got a 750 double pumper with 32lb injectors."

I got it now. Torque convertors are for automatics and clutches for manuals. I feel retarded, please excuse my ignorance.

A funny little Lightning story:

I was driving my friend's Lightning to the dragstrip for him as a support vehicle and he remembered he left the helmet in storage so I had to return and get it. When I was turning back onto the road where the strip was there was a newer GT Mustang coming out of the gas station across the street and he turned right in front of me and hammered it. I figured he was heading to the track too since this road leads to nowhere and I decided to have a little fun. I floored the Lightning and got right up to him and I could see he was shifting so I had to let off to keep from plowing thru him. Once he was on the gas again so was I, and once again I was right up his back having to let off to keep from running him over. This happened thru all the gears up to about 100 mph.

He turned into the track ahead of me and I didn't notice where he went. I in the meantime found my friend, parked, unloaded the stuff, and then the guy that was with me in the Lightning and I walked down to see what other cars were at the track that night. I saw the kid in the GT from earlier but kept walking. My friend walked over near him and overheard him say "yeah, my car is pretty fast now with the new mods.....but not as fast as that black truck down there!"
