So i replaced my dash and when i reinstalled everything the lights behind the gauges dont work. My headlights turn on my blinkers work and my battery and check engine lights work just fine. my gauges are correct as well. completely normal while day driving. Now i distinctly remember them working when i first plugged them in. I checked the fuse and its fine. is something maybe not grounded? where is the ground wire for this? is the dimmer maybe on a different fuse? please help!

Even though you said you remember it working, dimmer switches are extremely faulty so it could be that.

i think it may have been working before i installed the dimmer switch. i reconnected the batt prior to make sure everything was in working order then installed the dimmer switch. forgot to dissconnect batt again though so maybe i shorted the fuse? thats why i asked if its on a diff fuse. it wasnt on the list of fuses...

If none of the other lights work then I would put money on the dimmer switch, as long as all the fuses are good
