Linelock install: Can I install it open and then do the wiring some other time?

If I were to install my linelock now while its open, could I drive the car like that? Then
later I can wire it and open and close it like its supposed to?

How do I know if its open or not? I just messed with it and pressed the button while it was hooked up to my battery and the light came on but i could stil blow air through it either way?

Mine is open unless you push and hold the button. I have a Moroso on my car. They don't take very long to install. Put it on and try it. If nothing else get all the parts to do it, plum it and mount it, but don't hook it up till your ready. If you cap both ends it isn't gonna hurt anything.

Thats the thing, i lost the instructions somewhere in my house. Ill put it on tomroow, if i stop i stop, if not ...bye bye mustang.
