Starting with some FR500 wheels and big brakes. I hope to model the entire car.

I guess its good to try to do something fun when you have nothing better to do at work.

That looks awesome man! I just finished a class using AliasStudio and rendering in Bunkspeed Hypershot. When I get back from vacation ill throw some pics up, i just finished a few badass projects.

Little Update. I think ill be tackling the fender next. Just gotta get some accurate pics.




I need a better texture for the tire :/

its amazing what inventor can do, and its relatively simple compared to most of the other 3D software on the market

Yeah, its really amazing how many different types of modeling there is. As long as its rendered properly, they all look great.

I was thinking about it. Do you have any profile pics of your car? The hardest thing about this process is just finding good photography to modfel off of.

I have some good pics of the car, as far as profile go, I have what I have now and can send them all your way.

I will however have the car out soon, and can take whatever you needed...

Sweet. That would really help. Im just trying to get a side profile, front profile, maybe a top profile. Just to get the radius on the fenders and stuff correct.

Once I get some seats in the car (this weekend hopefully) I can get it in and out of storage and take pics of it.

I remember when i got bored and did my entire paintball marker in Solidworks. Took me forever to model every single peice of the gun and then assemble it but it looked cool as hell when done!

Then i got a life and a g/f and have no time to play with it other than Work

the wheel looks awesome man, maybe we can get you to render the 17" 10 holes with a machined finish that everyone is curious about in the other thread
