... sorry , I just listened to the speaker guy, and like you say, Its a 331 mentioned at the text in the Y tube sign. ? but, think you need at least something like 1750hp to run 7.7 sec ET ? 331 might do that ? Ps. hope so :nice:

Sounds great...this might be4 a stupid question but what kind of tranny would a car like that have...I can't hear it shift. I assume it's auto but is it a 3 speed or something or is it just shifting really fast

what a POS, he has a reverse light out

:rlaugh: kidding! that thing is an animal, 7 seconds is f'n faaast, do you know if that's a paint job or a full wrap?

it's paint. actually, my cousin (who is painting my car with me) and a guy named matt parker painted it.

the car is in the october issue of 5.0 mag. not a feature car, but the bottom half of page 148 is all mike genovese and his car. the funny thing is, mike is a service consultant at a local chevy dealership! :rlaugh:

i figured out what the motor is for the most part...417ci with brodix neal heads and a procharger f3r. tuned at laroche racing and chassis built by mike duffy here in oklahoma

We've got quite a few 8 second cars local, a few on our local forum, but i don't know if anyone is in the 7s yet. That's a whole different world. We've got a bunch of 9 second street driven cars too and half the 8 second cars are "street legal". I've rode in a 9 second Nova which was the fastest thing i've ever been in and it was insane how hard that thing planted you in the seat. I've managed to take my own car from 14s to 12s, and that 2 second difference is crazy...i can only imagine how 7 seconds feels compared to 9 especially considering how much more power it takes to run those 2 seconds vs. my 2 seconds.

man i know what you're saying. my car was a 14 sec car when i first got it but the first time i ran it, i ran a 13.7. that was with a completely stock motor and just 4.10's and an or H with m spintechs. i haven't ran it since i put together my recent combo but it definitely runs A LOT harder than it did!
