lock broken

My trunk lock will not work. My trunk closed and will not open. There is also a sub box in my way, so I can't even get to it from my backseat. Does anyone have an idea how to open it? The will go in and turn, but nothing happens.

i take it notches dont have electric trunk poppers?

i would be trying one way or another to get that sub box out of the way.

My old one did but this one doesn't, there is no way I can move the sub box.

Well seeing as this isn't your first post and youve been here a while.

It sounds like the inside of the lock mechanism came apart or something.

You can drill out the rivet holding the retaining plate for the lock. Then slide your lock out of the trunk lid and use a screwdriver to trip the mechanism.

I had to pull mine off when I put on a new deck lid.
