Yeah, my ignition lock is toast, the last pin inside will not move ever again. I am going to autozone to get a lockworks replacement for it, i heard you have to turn it to run then push in that button on the bottom and pop it out. BUTTTTT..... if i can't get the key in it to turn it to run, what do i do, just muscle it out?

That is what I would do. I might try some lube in the cylinder (for me, usually it messes up the tumbler action, but you have nothing to lose and maybe it will make it work again).

Otherwise, make it go to run (carefully - dont break the interior or hurt yourself) and push the retaining pin.

Good luck and bump off page two.

drilled out the center, the little push in button and tumblers, turned it to run with some pliers and it came out. Got a used one from work out of a 4 banger and it works better than new. Thanks. Now trying to get that 466 started, what a PITA. the compression during cranking just sound soooo nasty...its awesome lol.

Nice work!

I imagine you are giving a high torque starter a good workout.
