Locked Wheel lugs

Finally picked up my car today and before we left i noticed that the lugnuts were locked, I asked who i bought it from if they had the key and they said they never did. So now how do i go about getting these off so i can put on my summer rims?

If you find a closely sized socket,you can hammer it onto the nut and use a regular ratchet. It works best with impact sockets as they can take the pounding from the hammer. Start around a 13mm deep set socket.

Regina shops should have a set of keys and if not guess ill be beating the **** out of this lock

you can buy a tool from princess auto that looks like a lugnut but screws onto the key but you can only use it once.

If the above advice fails, take it to the nearest garage and have someone take them off with the air chisel. That’s what one garage had to do with my old Ranger P/U one time when the 17-year-old student they had forgot to reverse the impact gun when taking my wheel nuts off and broke the key.
