Just how I can compensate with the lockers unrulelyness in turns with a high horsepower application. Some people seem to change out sway bars amoung other things. I am sure i will be able to feel it out once the car is completed. I just trying to avoid putting my car into the wall, median, or anywhere else. I went with a locker vs. a lsd because i knew it would fry the clutch packs in a normal lsd.

Dont say anything until you have driven it. Its not bad at all, I prefer spools in most everything, then again my tires may not but its all good. New tires arent a bad thing

Well my truck, and buddies trucks are all lincoln locked haha. But they completely different beasts. On that note i am note real concerned, they dont have the smae numbers that the mustang will. I ask becuase a good friend of mine seems to think i might run into some control issuses.

To be honest i can't remeber if i specified to use a Detriot Locker when i ordered the narrowed rear from Martz or not. I just went over what i expected from the set up.

i'm really not a fan of lockers.

if i were you, i'd get a "gold-trac" or "true-trac" differential. they're the best!!

we went from a detroit locker to a gold-trac in the '79 camaro we autocross and the difference was night and day, could put on the power so much sooner coming out of corners, didn't snap out when the locker hit, didn't clunk everytime you get on/off the gas...

this is a on 535 HP / 460 TQ engine (crank) with 5.38 gears and 14" wide slicks. i don't know what you've got planned, but either diff will do you no wrong.

if you left foot brake they can be a hindrance and we've had lots of problems with low speed plow unless you kicked the tailout which isn't the fastest way around the cones...

No road race only. My trucks are lincoln locked as well, nothing like those iroks chirppin around hehe. When driving you really dont even feel the spool unless you slow way down for a tight corner. High speed stuff, its not even there.

Nope, and thats with a spool. Low speed corners with a detroit may require you to do a little heel toeing to keep the locker engaged. You dont want it to lock / unlock because it could send ya sideways. Just have to experiment a bit.
