I'm going to look at an 07 gt that has been hit in the front. All the owner told me was that it will roll onto a trailer. I don't have much more information on it. I know its hard to guess with out seeing the car in person but could some of you thow out what you might pay for it. clean title not salvage.

1) Lets take worste case..... car is not rollable due to the wreck.
I'm hoping to pay $2500-3000
2) Best case ...... fenders and radiator support damage but rollable. Might not be drivable though.
I'm hoping to pay $3000-6000.
If its drivable and it wrecked i'm getting it. depending on what he wants for it.

I know this is like shooting in the dark but I'm only trying to get an idea of what others would pay for it. I'm not up to par on newer mustangs but i did do some looking and in good condition I saw from $18-22k. I did see a salvage title one for 8k.

Anyway thanks for any input.

I honestl wouldnt pay for it at all if it was in a wreck. there could a lot of other things wrong with it just waiting to come up after youve fixed the visible problems.

Sounds like a 50/50 % chance to me, you may end up with a bunch of "parts"

that is definatetly a concern. I don't want to have a 3k parts car. I don't even know what that motor would be worth.

^^^Agreed, you aren't getting an '07 GT for a couple grand no matter how trashed it is.

If you can get for 10% over the insurance buyback or less then it's not worth the hassle. End of story.

It has been rainging pretty good down here so i haven't been able to get out there yet. Thats why i'm askingyou guys for opinions.... I know if they want $12k for the car then I may as well buy a new one. your parts list give me an idea of what think migh be wort, thanks. now have 2 options to consider on the purchase. repair or part it out. I know my numbers are pretty low up there i'm sure i'll be spending much more that that.
thanks for the info guys.... I'll keep you posted about the car.
