finally i got my computer back so.....

and what is the best way of getting a factory battery clamp off the bttery

the crap is corroded on the battery post?

Pour Coke(the beverage) on it.

DO NOT pour Coke on it! The sugar is corrosive, and will encourage rust wherever it goes below the battery.

Get a tall glass of water, and dissolve some baking soda in it (about 2 tablespoons or so). Pour that over the battery terminals, and it will rapidly dissolve the buildup on the terminals. The baking soda is alkaline, so it neutralizes the acidic buildup and the runoff is close to neutal pH (non-harmful to your Stang).
