long tube install

I just did the install this past weekend and I was met with HUGE hurdles because of a couple reasons. First, the T56 tranny and bellhousing were creating maneuverability issues for turning the headers to get them in on the driver's side because they're both considerably larger than the stock T5. Since you have the tranny and bellhousing out you should be ok. Second, I wasn't able to jack the car high enough to fit the headers under the car. MAKE SURE IT'S HIGH ENOUGH! For the driver's side you are going to go from beneath the car, I suggest unhooking the steering too to give more room. Assuming you have moved everything out of the way (CAI, etc.) and you were able to get the EGR tube off the passenger side header will go from the top. Removing the starter is also helps, but it's doable without doing so.

Get it as high as you can and unbolt both motor mounts. Remove the starter and get the smog stuff out of the way then go in from the top. You have to tilt the engine to fit them in, at least I did.

I had to unbolt the steering shaft and go from underneath on the driver side.
