I have the stock headers and o/r/h, but i will be going with the longtubes and shorty h without cats. Will the longtubes make my car louder than it is now?

Long tubes will be quiter at idle, and cruising throttle

However if you lay into the throttle, they will be alot louder.
The longtubes really open up the sound at wot

What duro said... They scream like a banshee at wot, but are quieter throughout cruising.

Seems odd, what is your combo, and how much power did you gain?
What size LT's and what size shorties?
What intermediate pipes did you have with the 2 different header combos?
Typically, Long tubes will make more power than shorties, especially at lower rpm.

Longtubes sound a **** load better when you take off the exhaust at the strip. I would never open up shorty headers, they sound like ass.
