I was told to use red silicone paste between the headers and the adapter plates, has anyone ever used this stuff before? Does it need to be just red silicone or high heat **** or what?

Ill have some more pics up in a few days and maybe a video of it running again.

i would just use a gasket between the plates, if that silicone leaks, or when you have to take the plates off its gonna be a mess and that stuff is a bitch to scrape off in a tight engine compartment.

when i bought my car, it had that stuff instead of gaskets and it definitly sucked when i had to remove the headers

The countersunk holes where the flatheads sits, if the head of the bolt sits below the plates it will leak even if the gasket is there. That's why they said to use the red stuff to fill the areas where the bolts sit below....

Yeah... He is putting some twisted wedge 185's on it. He also put x303 cam in it. He took the AOD out and is still deciding on a C4 or T5.
