well i have the engine out of my car and did some clean up, painted it and the oil pan and when i went to put the oil pan back on it would go. guess it go bent or something. it ws hitting the oil pump but i just bought this off ebay. $60 shipped to the house

chrome seems to leak so i would sand the chrome off the lip where it meets the gasket and block, use silicone and hope for the best.

oh should i use the rubber or cork gasket??? im going to put it on when i get it and take some pics

rubber and a tube of silicon should do it but be ready im not saying its going to leak but be ready for it to.
your the one that gave me the advise on the cobra conversion for my car right?

Just make sure you are very careful taking the bolts out doing an oil change, and make sure you tighten them all the way up.

I bought a shifter for my Truck (you can view it in my sig) from HotZone performance and they were good to deal with and the quality was perfect

like 68torinogt said make sure you sand down that chrome otherwise it will end up corroding, bubbling and leak

yup its easy as that. and your bling bling will seal for a while

Use a Fel-Pro OS34508R 1 piece rubber gasket

Just make sure you keep it waxed, this will protect it from the elements or it will rust.

use lots of gasket sealer...chrome parts are made cheap usually.

thats the one i got tanks to the 20% employee discount i got the gasket and the gasket stuff for $19
