1986 xr4ti 5spd clutch is good, has some problem spooling all the way up at WOT, probably a VAM issue, i'll be lookin into it... runs great..

any takers on how much i paid for it?

1986 XR 5spd runs great. has some issue at WOT stumbles under boost (probably vam)

~107k on the ticker, acutally i found this one yesterday on turboford i'm gonna head out on sat to pick it up, it took me probably an hour worth of searching different boards, i'll gladly add the peice to my great cars for under $1000.00, i got the svo for 800 so i money ahead. Besides i still have the orignal svo engine out of my car so i got a whole lot of bolt on stuff for it now...

Man, $700? Why can't I find deals like that?

Also, it's not a "factory" Motorsport intercooler, Ford Motorsport sold them as an aftermarket kit. Pretty sweet though, I think those kits are starting to get a bit rare.

i've heard that but on mine it was in the factory paper work that it was installed pre-delivery to the customer. All the paper work for the car was in it when i bought it. even found the build sheet under the carpet. also the original window sticker was stuffed behind the glove box ( damn thing wouldn't let the box open all the way)

thats a sweet TC nice find. i'm envious, got the XR home adjusted the timming the dude was chasing a rich condition, timming was wacked out from him messing with it, found the VAM was out of adjustment and coated with oil blow back from the clogged pcv valve. Cleaned the VAM, changed pcv valve, adjusted the spring in the vam. It runs great does some wicked burnouts... I wish i had a camera i scared the piss out of my self last night...
