I asked steve a while ago about this. He was busy so i didnt bother to ask again.. But my setup is. 302. Trickflow 170cc 61cc heads TF rollers. 30lb injectors 340lph pump ms2pnp. Trickflow stage 1 cam bbk equal length shorties. 75 mm tb ported 93 upper cobra intake with a ported BA cobra lower , gonna be adding a 68mm on3 turbo kit with 60lb injectors pretty soon. But wouldnt mind a spicer timing table then what i got..

Mind posting a screen shot of your base timing table, now?

Looks like the stock a9l curve

Make 100kpa 33* if running aluminum heads and 93 octane. And blend down. You want around 28* at 1400

I haven't tuned enough combos to give that kind of specific advice. But, the comments I've read about total timing on aluminum heads are all in the 30s. Without Steve here, I've have said baseline it at 32*. So, I'm not that far off, I guess. After baseline, you need to read the plugs, and keep in mind that not all cylinders are created equal. The leanest cylinder is always the plug to read, if you're going to read one. Then, add timing 1/2-1* at a time and watch trap speeds. When it doesn't pick up any more, you're done. And, I believe in conservative tuning, because you will get bad quality gas from time to time.

My AFR heads liked 18* base the most. I guess the A9L would have been commanding 38* total minus any modifiers (see chart and adjust base timing by 8*). Seems high to me, though.

If Steve says anything that conflicts when my statements, listen to him.

EFIDynoTuning

at the bottom there is an mbt reference chart

u can download the free custom tuning software for the ford ecus and open up the a9l2 custom base tune. Follow the directions for applying your mbt spark from the a9l2 write up and copy that base table to your tune.
