I heard about the Steeda quality, its very good. The difference is price. The Steeda will set you back $500.00 unshipped and the other $250.00 unshipped. It gives you extra cash for paint and other things "if" the quality is extremely good. I like the Steeda but prefer the Cobra as the no nonsense hood IMO. A little :OT:. Whats the difference in weight between stock and aftermarket?

i paid 400 for my hood right from steeda, it was a little bit pricey. i got a great deal on the paint though so it turned out ok. i didn't weigh the steeda hood before it went on, but i would say its about 10- 15 pounds lighter. it also has the cowel induction hole in it so it is somewhat functional.

www.mustang-hoods.com has the Cobra R hood fro 259.95. Anyone know if this company is legit and what about their quality?

Well.....I've done some business with mustang-hoods, anyways their customer service is really bad, but the hood that I received worked out fine.....

Quality hmm.....I think that it's obvious that a hood for 250.00 bucks that usually cost $400+isn't the best quality.....

Well not necessarily. What about Saleen? I've heard and read to many posts about them not to buy fiberglass parts from them. And thats expensive stuff correct me if I'm wrong.
