I have a 427w built by Ford Performance Solutions that was done back in 2001.

It's old tech with a stroked 400M nodular crank and Avenger R heads.

Anyway, at the time, I thought 9.5:1 compression would work in my application.
However, the need for more power to keep up with the LSX motors is on
now.
I'd like to change out the pistons and get a forged crank installed, among other mods, so it will produce more and spin faster.

Also, there seems to be a pretty good vibration above 3500 rpm which is also troubling.

Not that there was anything wrong with FPS, but who else in the SO Cal area is a good motor builder at a *reasonable* price that you would vouch for?
Just seeing what's out there.
Thanks!

Everybody likes pics :D
It's in a Bronco
