Hi, I am considering buying a semi-new or new mustang GT convertible (2005-2007) and I was wondering if anyone knew any major differences in the 05, 06, and 07 models both cosmetically, interiorly, and mechanically. Thanks, Drew

in 06 you could get the 18" wheels and two new colors. 07 there is a ton of new stuff.

check out this link for ordering info for 07 stangs. pics are hard to come by of the 07 packages, so you might have a little trouble with pics for the 07.

05 - 06 only real changes are colors & wheels ( & Pony package for V6).

06 - 07, lots of new options & colors, heated seats, power passenger seat, DVD NAV option available soon, GT/CS, GT trim package, interior trim wheels & cloth top option for verts. The biggest improvement is that the unibody had been strengthened.

I saw a guy posted that he witnessed a load going down the highway with a valencia grabber orange model on it. If that's true then they are out. Second hand info FWIW.

The 07s went into production on June 5.

As others have already said, 07s are now sitting on dealer lots.
