I just converted my 5.0 to EFI/MAF. Runs like crap. I need to change the cam to match the HO firing order. I'm hoping someone has a stock HO cam they're willing to part with.
I found an HO cam locally. Thank you to everyone for trying to help.
As a (duh!) side note: If you switch to roller lifters from flat tappets, you also HAVE to install matching valve springs. Otherwise, the higher roller lifter pressure overpowers the weaker tappet valve springs, the valves don't seat and you get zero compression. Hopefully, that little bit of info will save some head scratching. It took me a while to figure out what was going on. The engine sure cranked easy though.
