Looking into getting a new cd player

Every pioneer i have had from cheap to pricey has been excellent, and the controls are pretty easy. i also once had a nice higher end alpine deck about 6 years ago that was really nice. right now i have a sony that is a couple years old but i got it for free...it sounds pretty good on my stock volvo system and has a input for my ipod hookup so it definitely works for me

Maybe the price range of the brand has a lot to do with the failure rate I've had with Pioneers - I never have been able to afford anything more than the bottom-end decks of anything.

I've had an alpine for 6 years and its great. It acted a little weird for a little bit but other than that it was awesome.

Friend of mine gave me a Blaupunkt today, pretty old(40x4 watts think it said) but he thinks it still works so I am going to give it a shot. If it doesn't work I'll end up getting that pioneer.
