Ok I just had my drivers side head replaced at the Ford dealership. When I got it home I noticed a short lead that comes off the injector and coil cap harness laying loose. It is black, about six/seven inches long and has a small female, right angle connector on the end of it. Does anyone no what I am talking about and where it goes? I have gotten a flashing check engine light a couple of times. It has only happened while AC was on and went off when I turned AC off. The car seems to be running fine and not missing. Help appreciated.

I think that one goes on the fuel rail stud sticking up.

I'm trying to think of what you are talking about...if I remember right, there is a single wire with a rubber boot on it. It attaches to a bolt somewhere near the EGR. I found a picture of the engine online but it didn't have the wiring harness. I believe it attaches to the EGR valve or some other place. Does this picture help? http://www.mustangspecs.com/carpics/02gteng1.jpg
