Loosing coolant

I am loosing coolant but no visible leaks! All new hoses water pump and radiator! No leaks on the groung nothing in the car (heater) Motor has about 12k miles on it new heads block etc! Please someone help me !

get a pressure tester and pressurize the cooling system and look again then , what head gasket did you use ? did you use studs or bolts for the heads ?

You used thread sealer on the bottom (or outside) studs?

personally-i would use FORD RACING heavy duty graphite H/G's, they are cheaper than Fel Pro and better than them as well. AFR recommends them, I used them before, when i replaced them last, just went with the graphites, never had a prob.

if you used thread sealant on the lower studs , pull them one at a time and put some red high temp silicone on them and retorque but only do one at a time and you should only have to do the lowers , if it still leaks , pull the heads and silicone the coolant passage ways on the lower side of the head and on the threads of the lower studs where they go into the block

I have the same problem, cannot see any leaks, when the motor is warm there is FAINT smell of coolant, it is a tad aggravating.. would like to solve my problem as well

Ditto on the fait smell, no leaks and periodic "LOW COOLANT" light.

Losing a little, or a lot? Every month or so I would see that my plastic coolant overflow container would be bone dry, but no visible sign of leakage. Finally tracked it down to a bad EGR spacer gasket, which let coolant get sucked into the intake. New gaskets and lapping the surface of the spacer flat solved that one.

Ok Intake (lower) leaking into #5 and #1 cylinder both have bad compression 15psi or less Looks like I'm getting a 331 or 347 boys
and low compression pistons so I can run that blower I always wanted

I had the same low coolant issue.
Got under the car a few days ago and sure enough I could see where coolant had been leaking from the bottom of the wp.
It never made it to the ground so I suspect it was leaking while I was driving.
I replaced it with a new unit from NAPA.

My car loses a bit of coolant and I think its going out the exhaust because the exhaust has a funny burnt type smell to it.

No drips anywhere and no evidence of any leaks.

Lower intakes need to be retorqued after install and running the motor at least once,maybe more,especially with Fel-Pro pos 1250 gaskets.

I`ve retorqued my lower 4 times to stop coolant seepage with 1250`s.
I won`t use 1250`s again!

First thing to look at, see if the front side of the motor (timing cover, etc) and surrounding accessories has a white colored oxidization look to it. A coolant leak from a water pump or thermostat housing can leak slowly and evaporate off of the hot surfaces it touches before hitting the ground and present you with that nice smell.
