Ive been loosing oil on my new crate engine in sig since the it was installed never could see any leaksafter 4000 k miles on the clock o finally noticed the build up a the the rear of engine and found puddling of oil at the the rear of intake on the block. Is it coming from my lower intake gasket or wherer else could oil be leaking from to pudlle up there? thanks

My guess would be your PCV is leaking. Check to make sure the hose, and or PCV valve didn't pop off. If that's the case, you may want to invest in an oil separator, since that oil will end up in your intake otherwise.

could be lower intake gasket, did you use the cork gasket?. the best way (also what ford recomends) to install a intake manifold is to get 4 long bolts (around 4"long the same thread pitch/diameter as the intake manifold bolts) and cut the heads off. after you get the gaskets installed thread these bolts into the heads at the fwd two holes and the aft two holes in the heads(where the intake bolts go) most people dont use the cork gaskets they just put a 1/4" bead of permatex where you would usually put the cork. position the manifold over the engine and line up your holes in the manifold and then set her down and torque. on a side note there is also a plug back there that could be leaking also. chris
