Ok I cleaning my maf sensor and decided to clean my iac valve(side of the throttle body, held on by bolts, not screws) well I cleaned it and every since then my car has a lopey idle like I was running a bigger cam...the gauges do not not bob around or anything...it doesnt drive bad or choppy..it makes the car rock back and forth a little at red lights.all of this doesnt really bother me but Im just curious as to why....btw I used contact cleaner on it

you should also clean your iat(intake air temp) sensor(if you have a k&n they get dirty from the oil coating it and then they get all nasty),its the sensor thats poked in the intake pipe. just clean it the same way as the maf just make sure you index it so air is flowing through it around the filliment.

Did you disconnect the battery? If not i'd suggest trying that before you start pulling stuff apart or screwing with anything else. Disconnect the battery, let it sit for 30 minutes (some say just to tap the brakes) and then reconnect it and go for a ride.

I've never tried it on an SN-95 but i'm sure it's all the same as a foxbody..... try resetting the base idle if the above doesn't work.
