Been forever since I've had a reason to post here, but I just picked up another mustang to tinker with. I'll have to post some pictures later, but it's a 67 coupe with a 289. Nothing fancy, just a solid rust free car to start with. Had a couple questions on some minor issues...
1. How hard is it to rebuild the power steering ram, and the power steering control valve? It leaks enough that the prior owner just disconnected the pump and ran it without. It is leaking out of the ram itself, but I figured while I have it apart, I might as well rebuild it all. Is it something simple, or should I find a pro?
2. This question could be directly related to the prior one. As I was moving the car today I completely lost steering. The steering wheel moves freely, and thats about it. I won't have time to put it on a lift until sunday and see exactly what is wrong, but I need some ideas as to what parts I should buy prior. The mustang supply stores are closed on the weekends, so I wanted to buy the most probable defective parts to have on hand.
