I want to enhance my rear lower control arms by either replacing them with poly bushings or new arms entirely. I am just looking for better than stock handling/acceleration. Is replacing the stock bushings still a pain in the **s? Does it still require a press or blow torch to remove the old bushings? And above all else do the new poly bushings in the stock arms make a noticable difference compared to replacing them entirely with boxed arms?

Someone has created a special tool for removing the bushing. I think it is modulardepot...? It is one of the major sellers of the arms, they sell it with the arms.

I would just get new arms. Even if you go with the poly bushings you still have the flex of the stock arms. Probably even more since the bushings won't flex as much any more. And with good LCA's you can pull off the quad-shocks. My car rides better without them.
