4.10's, drag radials, tuner and a shifter will be a great start and not too hard on he wallet.

You don't want lowering springs for a drag car. Use the stock springs or get dra launch springs. MY yellow notch has a 4.6L T45 in it. The car has Steeda Sport Springs and the car is stiff and does not get good weight transfer, it just stays planted.

Anyways, with a CAI, BBK H-pipe, MAC Catback, 3.73's, no tune and Goodyear F1's spinning through 1st and 2nd, I ran 14.25@99.36MPH. 2.245 60ft time. I know it has more with tirs, because there was another GT there running 13.82@ 98MPH all day...but he had M/T's.

If I were you, go with at least a 3.73 or 4.10, LCA's and a good tire like M/T 275-40-17's.

lets see I ran a best of 13.75 my first run down the 1320

think the 60' was 2.20 and I couldnt seem to get that down. I was running 4.10's 315/35/17 sumi tires at about half life in them and I had lowered the air pressure to 18psi. steeda alum uca/lca, bbk subframe connectors, sportline springs, stock blown out struts shocks, frpp alum d/s, mgw shifter, steeda u/d pullies, catted bassani xpipe & magnapack catback, bbk tube with k&n filter. sct2 with 92oct tune. 1/4 tank of gas and prolly weighed about 3500lbs.

heres a link to the run.

1st time running the 1320- Video

Id say pick up a set of MT e/t street drag radials & a shifter then work on the suspension...

Also dont straight pipe it unless you want to lose power. Trust me your car doesnt flow NEARLY enough to need a wide open exhaust. You an run lowering springs just gotta get decent struts and shocks to take care of/help with weight transfer. I know guys running eibach pro springs cuttin 1.80 60ft's with otehr mods. Get some upper and lower control arms and most importantly...practice..the driver mod is at times the most important.
