I am trying to remove my lower intake and it seems to really be on there good... I have tried prying it off but no luck. I have checked all the holes for the bolts and they are definetly all out. Any tips or tricks?

Might be a stupid question but did you get the studs out as well? I think my stock one I used a pry bar to get it off. Nice day out in Beverly huh? I've been driving my stang around all afternoon and just got home.

Some 5.0s have a metal strap at the back of the intake that attaches with one of the intake bolts and then bolts to one of the heads or a bolt in the back of the block. check for the strap and see if it is there.

Be careful if you pry on it cause it is only aluminum and you might break it. Double check to make sure that you have all of the bolts our there should be 12 bolts I believe. I missed one last time I pulled my intake and it took me a few minutes of struggling to realize what was wrong.

I would double check to see if you missed a bolt, some of the studs have double nuts on them. Once I made sure all bolts were off, take off the t-stat housing and use a round piece of wood to pry on the lower intake this should do the trick. My friend use The Right Stuff to seal his manifold, when he bought a new manifold getting the old one off required some kind of explosive. That thing was on there good.

Hes working on the lower intake...

There's 12 bolts holding it down, like said before make sure all are out. If they are you could try tapping the thermostat housing with a rubber mallet a few times to break it loose if it is silicon thats holding it down. Try to get under it and tap upwards.
