I started stripping down my car today and couldnt figure how the lower side scoops come off on a 67. Could someone give me a hint here. Thanks for your time.

Just got done putting them back in, and it was just a PITA as taking them out.

Pull the rear inner panels out, and unbolt the three bolts at the bottom of the window frame.

I unloosened all the window bolts but I think just the bottom ones are enough to pull the window frames out enough to get your hand and arm in there to loosen the nuts on the back of the windsplits.

Lots of cuts on my hands and arms, just be patient, and use a 1/4" drive ratchet, or a stubby 7/16" open and box end wrench. (Might be 1/2", I forget)

They do come off and do go back on, however I gave up on the passenger side upper left nut on upper split and just used a wing nut instead, couldnt start that one with the stock nut.

Good luck, and I just bought more Band Aid stock.

You may also want to have some new gaskets on hand for them, I removed & replaced mine for paint and the original rubber was, shall we say, beyond it's serviceable life. Of course that's true for most any part of the car and probably stating the obvious, but it's been that kind of morning...
