I suggest all with 03 stangs check your drivers side lower torque box as it appears the spot welder that did my car forgot to weld it in 3 places.. just fixed it tonight myself Peace to all..

Early 03 Mustangs were fine and later 03 Mustangs were fine. It was the middle ones that were screwed up. It effected many Mach 1s as well. Ford was supposed to have caught them and riveted them on as a fix, but it seems like they missed yours. I hope you welded them instead of riveting them.

Would a build date of Jan 15, '04 be considered later 03? Probably easier just to jack it up and look. I don't have any welding equipment, but a buddy of mine does.

my production date is 3/03 so i think they should have fixed it by now cant hurt to check. The problem the other guy was talking about had to deal with the upper boxes. my problem was in the lower drivers side.
