Well yesterday, a friend and myself decided to go ahead and lower my car. It's pretty much slammed. It looks sick imo. It rides like crap, but im hoping with some new shocks and struts (still has the factory ones from 02) that it will ride a little better. Anyways, enjoy!

ya shocks n struts will make it ride a lot better, if its just a dd i would suggest bilsteins. also some cc plates will help with the alignment.

Looks real good. How much did you lower it? What kinda springs? What size tires do you have? Since you brought this up i figure i'd ask the questions since im about to lower mine and want to get it right the first time.

Thanks in advance!

Looks nice. Did you purchase new springs or did you cut the stockers? Either way, I'd still recommend cc plates

How low do you have to go until you need bump steer and taller ball joints?

i would suggest a bumpsteer kit and ball joints as well as cc plates any time you lower. as far as bumpsteer kits i would have your vehicles bumpsteer measured before you put them on.

looks nice but your pretty low. I second what others have said. I wouldn't even say it's optional, you need cc plates and a bump steer kit. Without the cc's you'll be eating tires, then without the bump steer you'll be jumping all over the road.

We cut the springs. We cut 1.5 coils on the front, and 2 coils on the back. I plan on doing everything that was mentioned. It really just depends on how it looks once I install new rear shocks, because the ones that are on it now are shot. If it still rides rough and sits about the same with the new shocks, I will go ahead and put new poly Iso's in it.

My game plan is to add MM cc plates, Steeda X-2 ball joints, and Steeda bump steer kit. I will eventually end up putting H&R springs in, or just go to coil-overs. But I didn't have that kind of money and was tired of the car riding high.

I will end up taking this car to more road courses than drag strips. So hopefully some road racing suspension will be installed this year.

Ya if your gonna do road racing Def get the eibachs. Some subframe connectors will make a fairly nice improvement for fairly cheap.

That's my game plan. I plan on eventually adding a Pan Hard Bar, Torque Arm, and MM tubular front suspension and lower control arms at some point in time. Maybe early next year or something like that.

Ya I got the MM suspension except I am making some custom uppers since their torque arm won't fit my 9 in.

You cut more spring on the back than the front?

Yeah that's what I had to do so it would set level. In that picture I am on uneven ground. On a flat surface, it sits level. These cars sit with a rake from factory.

Looks sick but it'll never ride good with chopped factory springs.
