I took one off the line in my 2000 Lightning last summer. He wasn't ever next to me. We then raced twice from a 45 roll and he pulled on me fair and square. The Lightning is a pig at 45MPH. I got him to go at 60MPH and I walked him. The L builds a lot more boost at a higher MPH.

TBSS's are still nice rides though. I like GM's line of trucks and SUV's.

My moms bf has an 06 Sierra with the 6.0 in it (which to my knowledge is LSx based, but not identical to the LS2. info on the differences between these two???) and we are constantly firing away about ford vs chevy. its all good fun but in the end we both know we'd sooner switch to a chevy / ford than a Japenese toaster on wheels.
