Lowering springs problem...Help

On my 89 GT it has Eibach springs part #'s 3510.301 Front and 3510.302 Rear. The left side of my car sits about 2.5 inches lower than the right side. On the rears the end of each spring pigtail is pointing to the drivers side. The front feel like they are in the pockets but not 100% sure. Any suggestions? Can these springs just be tossed in or do they need to seat in a certain position?

First, Thank you very much for the info. I got it up on a lift and they seem to be installed correctly. What else could I check. I dont know the history on the car but I know it was hit on the front passenger side due to the back side of the fender being red and my car is black. The core support has a little kink in it I noticed when doing my Mark VII fan.
